The conceptual working method of Matthias Kläger impresses with thematic diversity and flexibility in the instrumentation. Thus he offers solo recitals with miscellaneous programs next to a variety of other concert programs.

In the sextet Guitarra a Seis Matthias Kläger works together with artists from Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Brazil, the repertoire varies from J.S.Bach to Frank Zappa.

The Duo Misteriosa Vida (Sarah Marie Immer, violin & Matthias Kläger, guitar) plays Argentinean tangos, milongas and others works by Astor Piazzolla.

Together with the tenor Hans Jörg Mammel he interprets Schuberts “Schöne Müllerin” in an own adaption of the piano accompaniment for guitar. Furthermore he is working with mezzosopranist Ruth Sandhoff and sopranist Regina Kabis.
